The North Aegean Region is divided into the Prefectures of Chios, Lesvos, Samos, each one is composed of various larger and smaller islands. The vegetation on these islands is rich, they have also very beautiful beaches, some with sand and others with pebbles, such as the remarkable beach Mavra Volia of Chios whose pebbles are black due to the eruption of the volcano Psaronas in antiquity, which is now inactive. The setting that is created is enchanting and can cope with the high demands of any movie. Traditional medieval villages, rare trees such as the mastic of Chios, museums, churches and monasteries are additional reasons for someone to shoot a film on one or more of these islands.
