Christos Giannakopoulos / Tamarisk

Christos Giannakopoulos graduated from the department of Communication of Panteion University in Athens and then continued to study film editing. He has worked as an editor and a sound designer in numerous films, with multiple selections and awards in major international festivals. In 2015, he was selected at Berlinale Talents, and, in 2021, he was part of the Meet the Future initiative in the 62nd Thessaloniki IFF. He is also an active member of the Hellenic Film Academy, as well as a lecturer at the department of Film Production at SAE Greece. In 2023, he started Tamarisk production company.
