On Thursday, November 9th, the event “Green Filmmaking in the Quiver of Producers: Innovative Training Actions and Collaborative Strategies of the Greek Film Center ” took place at the GFC booth within the framework of the 64th Thessaloniki International Film Festival. Participants included Giovanni Pompili (Head of Training Programs at Torino Film Lab) and Alexander Georges (Location Manager, USA). Stavroula Geronymaki (Deputy Director of the Hellenic Film Commission) coordinated the discussion.
During this event, the Green Film Workshop was officially announced. It will be held in Athens from March 6th to 8th, 2024, organized by Torino Film Lab and GFC through its department for International Audiovisual Productions – HFC.
The organization of the Green Film Workshop aligns with GFC’s strategic plan for the sustainable development of our cinema and audiovisual sector. It involves adopting an innovative blend of best economic and environmental practices in the fields of design and implementation of a production.
